SVG vs. SWF: Comprehensively.

Flash ist nach wie vor wesentlich kompakter und das Text-Handling um Ecken besser*, von der Verbreitung der jeweiligen Plug-Ins ganz zu schweigen. Für dynamisch generierte Graphiken ohne grosse Interaktionsmöglichkeiten (dafür hapert es an zu vielen Details, ob das am Konzept liegt oder an den Samples, die ich gesehen habe, ich weiss es nicht) ist SVG aber mittlerweile durchaus bestens geeignet — für "Rich-Media-Experiences" ą la Flash hingegen tendenziell weniger.

* Mit SVG 1.2 und dem Adobe SVG Viewer 6 schaut's weniger trist aus.
