Whoops! With all (my!) attention consumed by PDC 2005, Macromediadobe seems to have sneaked in a surprisingly low-fanfare Flash 8 release 3 days ago. While a few much-awaited enhancements have made their way in (especially the imaging API), Sparkle made it blatantly obvious that an authoring tool worthy of today's GPUs simply looks different.

Wired reviews NerdTV. Echos my sentiments; not bad at all, but a bit more glitz would be truly welcome. Hey, it's got TV in its name, right?
