Wie zu erwarten schraubt Sun am in Mustang mitzuliefernden Rhino herum; die Änderungen fallen summa summarum am ehesten unter die Kategorie Footprint-induzierte Verschlimmbesserung: Kein E4X, keine Class-File-Generation (und damit kein Optimizer) sowie ein neuer JavaAdapter, mit dem sich nur mehr ein (!) Interface implementieren lässt und Klassen nicht erweitert werden können.

Doch besser Helma Java assimilieren.mf: "Depending on the congruence of my own assumptions with some of these artists' intentions, the rating service has turned me either into an old dirty bastard with a filthy imagination or into a moralizing puritan with a way-too-ready finger on the Not-Safe-for-Work trigger."
