Steve Dekorte mentioned two recently published revealing backgrounders on Sun's acquisition of Lighthouse Design and the subsequent Java-induced cancellation of both [create OPENSTEP] efforts and LFC development within Sun.

I remember the "History of Swing" as pretty sensationalistic; the NeXT stories are good reading, however.
