A couple of simple things live.com might want to get right (should they ever intend to provide a competitive service; something I'm not particularly convinced of given the exhibited attention to detail [or rather, lack of]).

a. If I click on "Search only", remember that setting and don't expose me to 1997-style portal hell (or a 2007-style Google Personalized ~~Horoscope~~ Homepage proto-hell) every time I visit the site.

b. Why not make that "Live Search" header a link? Not so hard.

c. If you offer me a "FREE toolbar for better protection against scams and virus" (sic), don't do it in the form of a Windows executable, lest I might come to view you as a scam too. Or virus. You know, it's not so hard either.
