Helma 1.6.1 is out!

Probably the biggest news from a packaging point of view is that Jala, a feature-packed library developed originally at ORF ON, is now included.

Chris Zumbrunn continued his fantastic work on Helma's documentation, see for example the newly-restyled reference.

And, looking beyond 1.6.1, Hannes wonders whether JSAdapter might be "Helma's missing link" (to Infinite Dynamism™, I suppose): "One of the bigger technical issues Helma has struggled with over the years has been that all of the framework code is implemented in Java, and therefore inaccessible to JavaScript and the quick experimental evolution that comes with it."
