|LANGREITER.COM plain, simple|
Integrity QA Software was a company founded by Robert W. Warfield and Stephen J. Kahn to develop automatic software testing tools based on genetic algorithms.
The tool was capable of spidering the user interface of a windows program to produce a graphical representation of that UI. Users could then apply various constraints to the different areas of the UI map. For example, a list of test data files could be applied as a constraint to the type in of a File Open dialog.
The genetic algorithm component was used to generate the shortest automatic test script that achieved the highest percentage of code coverage for the UI subsystem being tested.
Integrity QA Software was acquired by Pure Atria corporation, which was acquired by Rational. It's automated testing tool was named Test Factory by Rational, and is sold by their SQA business unit.
