In 1995, three [create General Electric] veterans took over all rights to GE*LEX as well as the development, sales and support personnel and thereby created the company LEX2000.

GE*LEX had been developed in the mid-eighties at General Electrics to meet the ever-evolving reporting and consolidation demands, expanding on a system originally created at [create RCA].
