new api (svn) has some changes [2007-04-18]:

- old: weight = graph.convert_property_map(graph.edge_properties['weight'], 'float')
- new: weight = graph.edge_properties['weight'].astype("float")

- old: label = graph.edge_property_map('string')
- new: label = graph.add_edge_property(type='string')

- old: simple iteration over (edge/vertex) property maps worked
- new: have to be indexed by edge or vertex, (for x in g.vertices: prop[x] &c.)
