ah yes, i forgot :) and if i get that draft right, only autoboxing is supported (no automatic unboxing). so:

Vector<Integer> v = new Vector<Integer>;
int a = 4;
v.add( a ); // works - autoboxing
a = v.get( 0 ); // faults - no autounboxing
a = (int) v.get( 0 ); // works - explicit unboxing
