I have an "active" model running in one thread and and several views onto this model (running in their own threads?). How can thread-safety be ensured? [reading: Observer Design Pattern, Remoting, Observer Design Pattern, Delegates, Observers the .NET way and not compared]

Changes can occur. How can the "client views" be notified of changes in the model? [Combined/Multi-Cast Delegates, probably - delegate model.NotifyChange +=/-= this.Repaint]
