Vector Programming Language K is a super-streamlined language merging important APL and Lisp concepts, generalizing operations to the max and therefore sporting a high degree of regularity as well as being of utmost elegance (once one sees beyond the low quality symbol rendering most of our xterms provide). It's also extremely fast. The original version is now known as [create K3]; Kx Systems' current offering goes, somewhat interchangeably, by the names of K4, Q and Kdb+.
