IE5+/Windows (Mozilla coming!) and lust for talk?"I would like to show how to build a simple electronic board that will allow you to use software installed on computer to flick a number of switches which are connected to your parallel or serial port, and all for less than 5 Euro [...].""Cringely suggests IBM should become a bunch of small, independent companies under an umbrella organization, apparantly because conglomerates have yet to fall out of favor in PBS land. A bunch of small independent units might as well be small independent companies unless there is some supracontractual benefit to being together, but presumably you'd need cross-group committees to take advantage of these benefits and then suddenly you're back to Big Blue again."

AFAICS the `cancel' button in your JavaScript window doesn't work. Or it might be Opera, I haven't tested with other browsers yet...

A. This thing will almost definitely not work in Opera and B. yes, you _have_ to enter a user name ;-) That's intentional. "It's just an experiment."

I'm all for `experimentation' but it is a real nuiscance (to me at least) to click on an entry in the top level Blog and find myself `trapped' in a dialog box that I don't seem to be able to escape from any simple way (canxel, shut the box, ...)

It's obviously not much of a problem, but it does irk me if I forget and click the top-level entry, and I'm not sure `irking' users is a very productive idea....
