JavaScript hält auch nach Jahren noch Überraschungen bereit, so war mir beispielsweise die Parallelexistenz des in-Operators ausserhalb seines angestammten Lebensraums innerhalb des for-Konstrukts bislang nicht bewusst:

"foo" in { foo: "bar", baz: "quux" }; // true

Laurens van den Oever zeigt, wie idiomatisch-praktisch-gut Set-Membership-Tests damit aussehen können.

Not quite unrelated: Stuart Langridge hat seine Ankündigung (2004-08-01-jsBook) wahr gemacht; das Werk findet trotz bedenklichem Titel ("DHTML Utopia") Anklang. Bought.OSCON 2005 in progress.
