Rhino 1.7R1 implements some interesting (JavaScript 1.7) features: generators, iterators, array comprehensions, block-scoped (let) variables &c.

If you want to try them in Helma, have a look at helma-notes-js-1.7.

I didn't know rhino 1.7 doesn't do JS 1.7 by default. I guess the final version might/should.

Regarding the Helma patch, I'd like to commit it. Ok with you?

Re: Rhino and JavaScript 1.7, I'm not so sure - in Firefox you have to explicitly activate support for new keywords (let and yield) as well.
