Morten Kromberg (of Dyalog): More APL

Speaking of Dyalog: If you're a full-time student and have a (latent?) interest in learning about vector programming in general and APL in specific, Dyalog's programming contest might provide some additional motivation. All you need to do is to submit APL solutions to (at least three of) the first 20 Project Euler problems, which, if I remember correctly, aren't terribly hard.

The best submissions (as determined by a panel of judges) will be awarded $2000, $1500 and $500 in prize money.

Give it a go! The contest runs until July, 1st, so there's still quite a bit of time left. Bernard Legrand's APL - a Glimpse of Heaven is a fine introduction to the basics of the language.
